I work in a style of illuminated realism; that is, the image you retain in your memory or informed by emotion. I enjoy using layering techniques and enough detail to give my work a solid feel. Color and the play of light are important to my vision.

Costangs Trail

Newfoundland was like no other place I’ve been. Every corner awed and delighted and the Costangs Trail was no exception. Views of cormorants perching on sea stacks vied with wildflowers including queen Anne’s lace of a size to dwarf a hiker.
