Biographical Information

Born April 25, 1962 in Gloucester Massachusetts, an area long frequented by artists. Interested early in art. Studied watercolor with Martin Ahearn in the 1970s.  Worked as a graphic designer for Applicon Appliconand Crimson Travel for several years in the 1980s. My work has been carried in the past by galleries in North Carolina, California and Idaho and Mary Williams Fine Art in Boulder CO currently carries many of my floral work. Marriage since 1985 to a United States Marine officer has meant frequent moves to places such as  Florida, California, New Orleans, Washington, Wisconsin, Hawaii, Louisiana for the second time, Idaho and now Illinois.  This, along with raising two sons, has had it’s challenges for my career but I have also benefited from ever expanding sources of inspiration and the wonderful support of various art communities all across the nation.
