"First Beads"
Watercolor on paper. At Carnival quite a few years back I was struck by the contrast of the large father and tiny girl and the newness of Mardi Gras for her. Placing them in a beam of light and stillness highlights the feeling of being just for her in the middle of crowds. Donated for charity.
